Meet Penny: A Heart in Need of Healing💕

A beautiful Lab who hasn’t had the easiest start to life but still Penny’s spirit remains unbroken.

Penny is around 5 years old and her eyes tell a story of resilience and hope. Since arriving at Almost Home she has now learned this is her safe space and we have seen her confidence grow immensely.

Penny is incredibly gentle and has the sweetest disposition. She is learning to accept cuddles from the volunteers and will rest her head in your lap as if to say, “Thank you for being here.”

She is looking for a family who can offer her patience, be understanding of her nerves and above all show her unconditional love.

Penny would do best in a calm environment where she can feel secure and loved every day.

She is great with other dogs and would benefit most with a secure back garden and another confident dog in the home to help her settle💕

Penny is a great girl and would be a loyal companion to anyone willing to open their heart to her🥰
