This Eddie and he is a 4 year old Jack Russel Terrier. Eddie arrived at Almost Home in August 2022.

Eddie has many of the typical Russel Terrier personality traits mixed in with his own quirks meaning he needs a very special person to become his forever friend ❤️

Small but mighty – Eddie happens to be one of our smallest dogs on site as well as one of the most intellegent! Many volunteers have spotted Eddie opening a cushion and climbing into the cover to go for a nap!

Upbeat and determined he loves to go on walks adventures with the volunteers and prefers to be leading the way. Eddie enjoys playing with toys on his own and will happily explore a garden independently. Inquisitive and social Eddie loves chatting to his neighbours the pigs Paddy  and truffles however he does not mix well with other cats or dogs.

Eddie has been crate trained – this has created a safe space for Eddie to relax and unwind after his long days of adventures. Eddie is protective of this space and needs someone who will respect and encourage him to use it.

This dynamic personality has resulted in Eddie having very specific needs including:

🐕 Someone with Jack Russel experience.
🐕 Someone with lots of patience and understanding of Eddie’s background.
🐕 A secure garden.
🐕 No children under 16.
🐕 No other animals in the home.
