We need your help
Dog walkers
You could help us by taking our dogs for their daily walks. This is a great way to get some exercise for yourself at the same time!
Driving
If you have a full driving license maybe you could help us transport animals to and from our centre.
Fundraising team
Our fabulous fundraising team help us keep the lights on at Almost Home! They organise fun events throughout the year that provide the much needed funds to let us continue our work. You could help organise a local pub quiz, or a coffee morning, or even help co-ordinate collection boxes in shops in your area.
Heather House carers
Heather House is our retirement home for older dogs. The dogs in Heather House are sponsored dogs that live a comfortable life, but who are not up for rehoming. Through no fault of their own they have been abandoned, but they are safe here at Almost Home.
Cat carers
Our Cat and Kitten volunteers help us with daily cleaning, medication and rehoming of our cats.
Puppy unit
Our puppy unit volunteers work hard to keep our pups kennels clean. The volunteers take care of everything the pups need- from feeding to medicating and spending time socialising with the puppies.
